I am missing your sweet smile in Montana, especially on the days when I go to bible study without your lovely presence.  Jonathon has blessed so many of us with his message and given us hope in tragedy.  God's perfect plan could not be more beautifully expressed than in the words you wrote on Jonathon's behalf.  I miss you, I love you, I wish I could hug you...... Dearest Sherry and Darren,

You both know that many of us also remember Jonathan and his special arrival into your family and his too soon departure for heaven.

I remember him as a beautiful little Peti boy who looked like Jared and Jonah and Daddy and not at all like Mommy and Nora Janae!  He was beautiful and perfect and we were all incredibly sad that he was already with Jesus while his little body was still with us.

We have grieved with you as you have walked through this first difficult year of every holiday, his due date, the other kids' birthdays and Mother's Day and Father's Day and we have watched you minister to others from the deep lessons that you have learned through this heart rending experience.

Even this web site and the other web sites that you have offered to others are your way of passing on to others the comfort that you have sought for and found as you have missed Jonathan this first year.

Jonathan, we have watched your mommy as she has come back to work and is able to rejoice with those who rejoice and grieve with those who grieve and we know that only those who know Jesus and know that good-bye here on Earth is just temporary because we will spend eternity with you in Heaven are able to go on because we have that Hope of seeing you again.

You will always be a part of your family's life and of ours.   You have touched so many hearts and lives for such a little person who had not yet learned to speak.  Your message has been shared by your mommy and daddy and we know just a little even now of how important your short life has been already.

Thank you both, Sherry and Darren, for being so honest and transparent in sharing your story.  I am positive that the Lord will continue to use Jonathan's story far beyond anything we could ever hope or dream.

I love you and I am so glad to have had a small part in touching Jonathan's life.

For mortal reasons I am sorry for your loss.  I am sorry that you have felt the pain of losing a child.  I am sorry Jonathan was denied the privledge of having you as parents.  I am sorry he will never do those things we all take for granted.  But the older I get the more confident I am that there is a bigger picture.  I am sure he was needed for an important and grandiose purpose.  One day you will be reunited!!

This is such a beautiful idea to remember your sweet Jonathan.  I just read his life story and can remember all those details like it was yesterday as I am sure you will never forget them.  Tears continue to stream down and I just want to tell you all how much I love you and grieve for and with you.  I pray that with time, the Lord will help lessen the pain and continue to give you the strength and comfort that you need to keep going forward.  You are such a blessing to others.  Even doing this memorial, you are helping others.  You are touching lives.  Thank you for being so giving and for sharing your most treasured memories with all of us.

What a beautiful memoir of your baby!  His life, however short, has left a lasting impression on many hearts.  Thank you for allowing us to share in your grief, and reminding us that Jesus holds us close to catch our tears.  I pray for all the mothers who don't know Him, those who don't feel 'held.'  We love you, Sherry and family.
